Police Arrest Church Guard Over Death of 11-Year-Old Girl in Suleja
Niger State Police have arrested a 26-year-old church security guard in connection with the death of 11-year-old Christabel Albert in Suleja. Police said the girl was reported missing after leaving home to attend a relative's birthday ceremony. Her body was later found in a well within the premises of an Apostolic Church in Suleja. The suspect was arrested in Kuje, Abuja, after allegedly fleeing the area. Police said he confessed during questioning to luring the child into his security room and disposing of her body in the well. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Minna for further investigation and prosecution.
