Daily Devotional April 29, 2026: Let Jesus Have the Final Say
Memory Verse: “I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Psalm 16:8 Bible Reading: 2 Kings 6:1–7. The sons of the prophets asked Elisha to go with them as they chopped wood. When an axe head fell into the river, Elisha miraculously recovered it by casting a stick into the water. Reflection: Storms come to everyone—sickness, delays, losses. Permission to start is not enough. You must invite Jesus into every step to triumph. Like David, keep God at the centre of your decisions. Don’t wait for trouble; involve Him from the outset. Key Point: Having Jesus in the boat is not enough; let Him have the final say in all you do. Bible in One Year: 1 Chronicles 3–4
