Fabian Hürzeler Unwilling to Leave Brighton for Manchester United Job
Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler is reportedly not interested in replacing Michael Carrick at Manchester United, despite being admired by figures at Old Trafford. United are winless in seven matches and sit 13th in the Premier League following a 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como. Carrick is expected to remain in charge for Sunday’s match against Bournemouth, but another poor result could increase pressure on the club to make a change. Hürzeler has guided Brighton to fourth place after five wins from seven league games. The 33-year-old recently extended his contract until 2029 and is said to be focused on continuing Brighton’s strong start. Manchester United are also reportedly considering several other potential candidates, including Julian Nagelsmann, Unai Emery, Antonio Conte, Eddie Howe, Simone Inzaghi and Cesc Fàbregas.
