APC Disowns Unauthorized PKK Primary Results, Declares Yusuf Gagdi Winner

Stella Okotete, chair of the Plateau APC primary committee, clarified that only the officially appointed returning officer could declare results for the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam contest. After dismissing earlier announcements as invalid, the designated returning officer confirmed Hon. Yusuf Gagdi as the legitimate winner of the federal constituency primary. Gagdi said the election was properly conducted across all 36 wards, with accreditation records, videos, and photos to prove its credibility. He warned that any declaration by unauthorized individuals, such as the earlier pronouncement attributed to Daspan Ishaya, is null and void under party guidelines.
