Emmanuel Fernandez Focused on Improving After Rangers’ Difficult Start

Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez says he is ignoring outside criticism and concentrating on improving his game after a difficult start to the 2026–27 season. The Nigerian defender said his talks with manager Derek McInnes have focused on maintaining concentration for the full 90 minutes and cutting out small mistakes that can create chances for opponents. Fernandez also believes unity within the Rangers squad is improving despite their European exit. He said the team remains motivated to compete for the three domestic trophies still available.
