El-Kanemi Warriors secured a commanding 3-0 win over Guinea-Bissau’s UDIB in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-round tie at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne. After a goalless first half, Nnamdi Mejuobi opened the scoring in the 52nd minute. He added a second four minutes later from the penalty spot. Dayo Wahab sealed the victory late in the match. El-Kanemi will take a three-goal advantage into next weekend’s return leg as they seek a place in the second preliminary round.
