Ondo Police Nab Six Suspected Cultists, Seize Battle Axes and Charms

Operatives of the Ondo State Special Anti-Cultism Squad arrested six suspected cult members in Akungba and Iwaro Akoko on credible intelligence. Authorities recovered five battle axes, a jackknife, criminal charms and confraternity items including boots, yellow singlets and face caps. The suspects—aged between 21 and 36—are now in custody as investigations continue. The Commissioner of Police praised the raid as a major success in dismantling violent networks. Residents have been urged to share information that will help maintain peace and security across the State.
