Correction: A&A Kiviasennus FC Owner Was Misidentified in Match-Fixing Report

The publisher has issued a correction to a 2025 report on A&A Kiviasennus FC, which played in the Nationwide League One playoffs in Awka, Anambra State. The earlier report incorrectly identified the club’s owner and president as “Jude” Atuegwu after match-fixing allegations emerged following the team’s defeat to Campos FC. It also reported that the proprietor threatened to disband the club. The publisher said the name was a typographical error and apologised for any damage the mistake may have caused the club’s actual owner, family and business interests.
