Torrential Rain Is Killing My Cloth Business – Anyone Else Struggling?

Torrential Rain Is Killing My Cloth Business – Anyone Else Struggling?

I run a cloth manufacturing outfit that supplies young girls to sell on commission. With the economy tight, many return with excuses instead of profits. To clear my stock, I started selling door to door at deep discounts. Even after cutting out middlemen, I still made some profit—but since last week the heavy rains and flooding have made street sales impossible. This slump is now hitting my other income streams too. I’ve even tried joining a news app waitlist for extra pay, but I’d rather see my core business thrive once the weather lets up.
