Yellow Plant Leaves? Check These Causes Before Changing Your Watering
Yellow leaves do not always mean you are overwatering your plant. Poor light, underwatering, nutrient shortages, compact soil, temperature stress, root damage and poor drainage can all cause the same symptom. Avoid changing everything at once. Check whether the yellowing affects old or new leaves, whether it starts at the edges or between the veins, and how long the soil stays wet. Also inspect the pot drainage, recent changes in light and the condition of the roots. Adding fertiliser or cutting back on water without finding the cause may make the plant worse. What has caused yellow leaves on your plants, and what helped you save them?
