Abia Police Arrest Suspected Child Trafficker, Rescue Six Children

Police in Abia State have arrested a 51-year-old man suspected of involvement in child trafficking and rescued six children allegedly abducted from communities in the state. The children, aged between three and seven, were reportedly found during an intelligence-led operation by the Violent Crime Response Unit in Aba North. They have since been reunited with their families. Police said investigations are continuing to identify and arrest other suspected members of the trafficking network. The suspect is expected to be charged after the investigation is concluded.
