Honouring Sexual Purity Within Marriage
Marriage calls for faithfulness in body, mind and emotion. Sexual sin, including pornography, emotional affairs and physical unfaithfulness, can weaken trust and violate the exclusivity of the marital covenant. Purity is not only a concern for single people. Married couples can also face temptations, especially through technology and private emotional connections. Marriage does not lower the standard for sexual purity; it makes faithfulness to one’s spouse even more important. I recognise sex as sacred and intended for marriage. By God’s grace, I will honour my spouse and uphold the sanctity of our covenant.
