During an inspection of the CBT English Language examination in Lagos, WAEC said computer-based testing has helped to reduce examination malpractice and improve transparency. Lagos State accounts for more than 22,000 registered candidates. The council said candidates are screened before entering examination halls to prevent unauthorised materials from being brought in. It urged candidates to prepare with past questions, marking schemes and chief examiners’ reports as WAEC continues its transition to CBT.
