A man identified simply as Damola has died after reportedly collapsing while fleeing police operatives in Kajola, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State. Police said they responded to intelligence that suspected cult members had ambushed a man in the area. Officers reportedly arrested one suspect, Oluwatimileyin Daniel, while others escaped. Damola was rushed to a hospital after he collapsed but was later confirmed dead. The incident caused tension in the community, while the Ogun State Police Command said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
