Lagos-based Dazzle FC made a strong statement at the 2026 Dana Cup in Hjørring, Denmark, winning the U12 title and finishing runners-up in the U14 category. The tournament featured 946 teams from 56 countries. Dazzle FC's U12 team won all nine matches, scoring 56 goals and conceding only six. They defeated Brazilian side RS Sports 2-1 in the semi-final before Akinremi Abdullahi scored in extra time to secure a 1-0 final win over Mexico's IFAC. The academy's U14 side also reached the Play-Off A final but lost 5-3 on penalties to Rawahel after a tight contest. Goalkeeper Ojerinde Toheeb was named the U14 Best Player after keeping three clean sheets in five matches. The results underline the quality of young football talent being developed in Nigeria and give the players valuable international exposure.
