Gunmen Storm Ekiti Church Crusade; Pastor Killed, Worshippers Abducted

Residents of Eda Oniyo in Ilejemeje LGA, Ekiti State, were thrown into panic when armed men attacked an open-air crusade service on Tuesday evening. Eyewitnesses say the gunmen opened fire on the presiding pastor, killing him on the spot. Several worshippers, including elderly people and children, were seized and driven into a nearby forest. A government source confirms that security operatives have been deployed and are tracking the attackers. Authorities remain hopeful the captives will be rescued safely. Police are yet to issue an official statement.
