US Bombs Key Bridges in Iran, Causing Civilian Casualties
Local sources report that US fighter jets struck three major bridges in southern Iran overnight. The Bandar Khamir overpass linking Bandar Abbas to Lar was hit while vehicles were crossing, leaving at least one person dead and several injured. Another strike destroyed part of the Gariveh Bridge, causing further fatalities and injuries. A nearby railway station west of Bandar Abbas, which connects to Shahid Rajaei port, was also targeted, wounding two civilians. In addition to these attacks, precision missiles damaged a telecommunications tower in Bandar Abbas, affecting nearby residential buildings and harming civilians. US forces also bombed a civilian airport in Iranshahr, southeastern Iran.
