FIFA Approves Normalisation Committee to Run NFF Ahead of Fresh Elections

FIFA has approved a normalisation committee to oversee the Nigeria Football Federation pending fresh elections into the NFF Executive Committee. FIFA and the Confederation of African Football will jointly appoint the committee members. The body will manage the federation’s affairs until a new executive committee is elected, with its mandate ending no later than 31 May 2027. Committee members will not be allowed to contest in the forthcoming NFF elections. The NFF Secretariat will continue handling daily operations until the committee is formally constituted.
