FRSC Announces Sunday Traffic Diversion on Kaduna-Zaria Highway

The Federal Road Safety Corps has announced a temporary traffic diversion on the Kaduna-Zaria section of the A2 Highway on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The diversion will affect DK825 at Kwaranza Village, near the Kaduna-Kano rail line intersection, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The measure will allow for the inspection of railway bridge beams under the Kaduna-Kano Rail Modernisation Project. Only one lane of the dual carriageway will be open during the exercise. Motorists are advised to slow down, avoid overtaking near the diversion point, obey traffic officials and use alternative routes where possible.
