14 Hospitalised After Medical Emergencies at Chainsmokers Concert in San Jose
Fourteen concertgoers were taken to hospital after a series of medical emergencies at The Chainsmokers’ show in San Jose, California, on September 4. The incidents began at about 8:22 p.m. at Discovery Meadow, prompting the San Jose Fire Department to request additional ambulances and advanced life-support units. Fourteen ambulances responded and 14 people were transported for treatment. Police said some cases involved suspected alcohol intoxication and drug-related issues. The conditions of those hospitalised have not been disclosed, and no arrests were reported.
