Gunmen Kill Prominent Edo Businessman on Eve of Child’s Dedication

Justice Abu Oshioke, CEO of the popular fast-food outlet Principle Takeout, was shot dead by suspected kidnappers in Ekpoma late Saturday night. Eyewitnesses say the assailants ambushed him at the Idumebo area and tried to drag him into the bush. He resisted their attempt and was fatally shot before being rushed to a nearby hospital. The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the murder and says Commissioner Monday Agbonika has ordered a full-scale investigation. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
