Super Falcons Defender Glory Ogbonna Returns to Beşiktaş
Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna has rejoined Turkish club Beşiktaş for a second spell ahead of the new season. The 27-year-old centre-back returns after spending the 2025/26 campaign with Israel’s Kiryat Gat. She previously played for Beşiktaş after spells in Sweden with Umeå IK, Spain’s Santa Teresa and Turkish side ALG Spor. Ogbonna was part of Nigeria’s 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad and was also selected for the Super Falcons’ 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup team.
