Saved by Faith: Lessons from Rahab the Harlot
In Hebrews 11:31 we learn how Rahab welcomed the spies and was spared from destruction. Her act of faith distinguished her from unbelievers who perished. Similarly, any sinner who receives God’s gospel and believes in Christ is saved from eternal death. John 3:16 reminds us that God’s love offers everlasting life to all who believe. Revelation 20:15 warns that those not found in the Book of Life face the lake of fire. Let compassion for the lost drive you to pray and share the gospel. Intercede for those around you so faith may ignite in their hearts and lead them to salvation. Prayer: Father, give me greater compassion for the lost. Help me intercede faithfully and share Your Word boldly, in Jesus’ name.
