Akinsanmiro Features as Monza Fall 3-2 to Lecce in Serie A Thriller
Super Eagles midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro featured for Monza in their 3-2 Serie A defeat to Lecce on Sunday. Lecce raced into a two-goal lead through Lassana Coulibaly and Tiago Gabriel, both from Ivan Ilić deliveries. Monza pulled one back through Ricardo Mangas, but Coulibaly struck again a minute later to restore Lecce’s two-goal advantage. Akinsanmiro, making his third league appearance of the season, was replaced in the 83rd minute. Exequiel Zeballos scored late for Monza, but Lecce held on for all three points.
