Lagos Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Killing Woman and Dumping Her Body in Ajah Canal
The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of an unidentified woman whose body was found in a canal on Monastery Road, Mopo, Ajah, on July 14. Police received a tip that a man had killed the woman and tried to dispose of her body in the canal. Security guards detained the suspect at the scene, and the Divisional Police Officer led operatives to arrest him. The victim’s body was evacuated to the General Hospital Mortuary, Yaba, for preservation and autopsy. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, for further investigation.
