Anambra Health Ministry Reviews Sector Performance, Cites 100 Revitalised PHCs
The Anambra State Ministry of Health has completed its 2026 Joint Annual Review meeting in Awka, bringing together programme officers, development partners, civil society groups and other health stakeholders. Participants assessed health-sector performance, reviewed key indicators and identified implementation gaps at state and local government levels. The review also considered data from surveys, routine reporting and administrative records to guide planning and resource allocation. The ministry said more than 100 primary healthcare centres have been revitalised across the state. Recommendations from the meeting are expected to shape health policies, programmes and service delivery for the rest of 2026 and beyond.
