Tinubu Approves ₦46bn to Rebuild Kano Airport's Second Runway
President Bola Tinubu has approved ₦46 billion for the resurfacing and reconstruction of the second runway at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo announced the approval while commissioning the remodelled Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo Domestic Terminal. He said the runway project is intended to improve safety, operational efficiency and the airport's ability to compete with other international hubs. Keyamo also said work has begun on upgrading the airport's Hajj Terminal. The projects are part of the Federal Government's wider airport modernisation programme.
