Fadahunsi Urges Nigerians to Judge Candidates by Character and Record
Senator Francis Fadahunsi has urged Nigerians to look beyond party loyalty, campaign promises and electoral inducements when choosing political leaders. He said voters should assess each candidate’s character, competence, past achievements and understanding of the problems facing ordinary Nigerians. He also urged citizens to consider whether candidates can be trusted with public resources. According to him, elections should not become a contest over who offers the biggest gifts or makes the most attractive promises. He said informed voters must choose leaders who can provide responsible, competent and accountable governance.
