Ajax Coach Hails Tolu Arokodare After Goal and Assist Against Sion
Ajax coach Míchel Sánchez has praised Tolu Arokodare after the Nigerian striker scored and provided an assist in the club’s 4-2 win over Sion in a UEFA Europa Conference League playoff. Arokodare replaced Marcos Leonardo in the 72nd minute and scored Ajax’s third goal two minutes later. He later set up Davy Klaassen for the fourth goal to complete an impressive substitute appearance. Sánchez said the forward brought energy, works hard and has the character to keep helping the team. Arokodare, who is on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, now has one goal and two assists in three appearances for Ajax.
