Sporting Lagos Coach Backs Samuel and Okoro Ahead of Plateau United Clash

Sporting Lagos coach Jeffrey Buter has praised Victor Samuel’s recent form and welcomed defender Odinaka Okoro back from injury ahead of the NPFL Matchday 9 meeting with Plateau United. Samuel helped Sporting Lagos recover after Bendel Insurance scored within 18 seconds of their previous match. He equalised before Gafar Olaniyan completed the comeback for a home victory. Buter said Samuel has shown his quality after a difficult period, while Okoro’s return gives the team another defensive option. The Plateau United fixture will also reunite Buter with Shola Adegun, his former colleague who is now part of Plateau United’s technical crew.
