Two Nigerians Among Five Arrested in Delhi Over Alleged Heroin and MDMA Trafficking
Delhi Police say they have arrested five suspected drug traffickers, including Nigerians Moris Okalie, 52, and Ibegbu Chigozie Samuel, 50, following an operation targeting an alleged interstate syndicate in the Delhi-NCR area. Police said Okalie was arrested near a hospital in Shahdara with 2.004kg of heroin and 863g of MDMA. Further arrests reportedly led to the recovery of additional heroin and MDMA from the other suspects. In total, investigators said they seized 2.554kg of heroin, 881g of MDMA and 11 mobile phones. The drugs were valued at about Rs12 crore in the international market. Police said investigations are continuing to identify other alleged members of the network.
