Nigerian EdTech Firm Heels and Tech Secures $100,000 Mastercard Foundation Fellowship
Nigerian education technology company Heels and Tech has been selected for the fourth cohort of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship in Nigeria. The company will receive $100,000 in equity-free funding, alongside mentorship, technical support and business guidance. The fellowship is delivered with Co-Creation Hub and supports African EdTech companies developing solutions to education and digital-skills challenges. Heels and Tech, which focuses on helping women and young people access digital skills and career opportunities, will take part in the 12-month programme. The funding is expected to help the company improve its technology, expand its reach and strengthen its work in making education and participation in the digital economy more accessible.
