Bayelsa Inspects 350-Bed Teaching Hospital, AI Tutor and Emergency Response Centre
Bayelsa State has inspected facilities at the Bayelsa Medical University Teaching Hospital and the newly completed emergency medical services and ambulance centre. The state says the 350-bed teaching hospital has expanded haemodialysis services for kidney patients, modern X-ray equipment and a CT scan machine to support diagnosis and specialised care. Emergency responders are also being equipped with digital tablets and push-to-talk radios to improve real-time coordination between hospitals, ambulances and the central response system. The developments follow the university's unveiling of a five-year strategic plan and an AI robotic tutor.
