Leeds United Eye Super Eagles Defender Zaidu Sanusi Ahead of January Window
Leeds United are reportedly considering a January move for Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi as they seek more depth in defence. The Premier League club are said to be monitoring the Porto player, who could compete with Gabriel Gudmundsson for the left-back role. Sanusi’s contract with Porto is due to expire next summer, with reports suggesting the Portuguese club may not offer him an extension. That could make a January transfer possible at a reduced fee. The 29-year-old has won two league titles since joining Porto in 2020 and has made 32 appearances for Nigeria.
