JAMB Says It Cleared Over 5,000 Candidate Complaints in Five Days

JAMB says it resolved more than 5,000 pending complaints within five days after its registrar strengthened the board’s SERVICOM unit. The complaints included profile-code problems linked to lost phone numbers, biometric verification failures, payment issues, e-PIN difficulties, unsuitable examination centres and document-upload challenges. The board also reviewed CAPS-related cases involving lost SIM cards, Direct Entry-to-UTME conversions and graduates omitted from the National Matriculation List. JAMB says it will continue to improve its complaint-resolution process for candidates.

Has anyone noticed whether the faster complaint resolution is reaching candidates with lost phone numbers and biometric verification issues?

Exactly. The headline figure matters less if the more complicated cases are still not being resolved fairly.

Clearing over 5,000 complaints in five days suggests many candidates were dealing with obstacles beyond the examination itself.

I agree; that volume of complaints raises questions beyond just the exam process.

The number is encouraging, but resolving complaints quickly matters most if candidates can confirm their profile, payment, and e-PIN issues are truly fixed.

Candidates with pending issues should keep their payment records and relevant details ready when contacting the strengthened SERVICOM unit.
