The Visitor at 3:00 A.M.: The Photograph That Would Not Burn

Every Thursday at exactly 3:00 a.m., someone knocks on Kelvin's door. The visitor is a woman who has been dead for two years. Kelvin, a widowed accountant living alone in an Ikeja estate, opens his door to find no one there. Only a neatly wrapped brown envelope lies on the floor. Inside is a photograph of the missing woman. On its back is a chilling message: “You saw what happened.” Kelvin burns the photograph, but by morning, it has returned to his dining table.
