Lightning Strike Kills Six Farm Workers in Adamawa’s Ganye LGA
The Adamawa State Police Command says six farm workers died after lightning struck their field during a thunderstorm in Dadiri-Tirigali village, Ganye Local Government Area. The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday amid heavy rainfall. Police officers rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency report that nine people had been hit by lightning. Three of the victims later regained consciousness, but medical personnel confirmed the deaths of the other six.
