Uzor Arukwe Urges Nollywood Producers to Stop Typecasting Him as Odogwu

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe says he is tired of repeatedly being cast as the “Odogwu” character in films. Speaking on a podcast, he said producers should allow him to explore more diverse roles. Arukwe said producers often request the character because they believe it guarantees returns on their investment. He urged them to take chances on new roles, just as someone did with the character that helped boost his popularity.
