Real Estate Worker Reportedly Rewarded After HR Raises Concerns Over His Past
A social media user has claimed that a young real estate worker closed a ₦50 million deal in his first week and earned a five per cent commission from his employer. The worker was also reportedly given accommodation and later received a Toyota Corolla and a refrigerator after outperforming some senior colleagues over three months. The account further alleged that an HR manager warned the company owner about the worker’s alleged past involvement in internet fraud. Rather than dismiss the worker, the owner reportedly sacked the HR manager and later gave the worker an additional ₦5 million. The unverified story has sparked debate online about second chances, workplace trust and employee vetting.
