Doma United Lead NPFL as Barau FC Make Strong Early Start
Doma United have made a perfect start to the NPFL season, taking six points from their first two matches without conceding a goal. The Gombe club defeated Sporting Lagos at home before earning an away win over Inter Lagos. Barau FC are second on four points after a goalless draw away to Kun Khalifat in Owerri. Their early form supports the club's ambition of challenging for a CAF continental competition place. Traditional contenders including Enyimba, Rangers and Rivers United have started outside the leading positions. However, with only two rounds played, the early table remains far from decisive.
