Funke Akindele Joins Kamo State at Lagos Meet-and-Greet, Easing Rift Speculation

Funke Akindele made a surprise appearance at Kamo State’s meet-and-greet in Lagos, where the two arrived together and held hands as they entered the venue. The appearance follows speculation of a fallout after Akindele missed the premiere of Kamo State’s film, Starlomo. She later promoted the project and encouraged him to focus on growth rather than box-office records. Kamo State has repeatedly described Akindele as a supportive mentor. He has previously shared how she supported his family, including during his wife’s pregnancy and their child’s naming ceremony.
