Embracing the Crucified Life

True life in Christ begins when self no longer leads. A crucified life paves the way to genuine spiritual growth and lasting victory. As Paul declares in Galatians 2:20 (NKJV), “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” When self gives way, Christ becomes the expression of every moment. Living this way means surrendering your will daily. It means choosing God’s direction over personal preference, obedience over convenience, and purpose over pleasure. Consistency in surrender brings full victory as the flesh loses its control and Christ shines through. Reflect: Am I living by my desires or Christ’s will? Which areas of my life still reflect the flesh’s control? Am I ready to yield fully? Lord, teach me to surrender each day. Let Your life flow through me and remove all that does not please You. Amen.
