Operation HADIN KAI Thwarts Terror Plot, Recovers Weapons in Borno

Troops under Operation HADIN KAI have prevented a planned terrorist attack near an IDP camp and military post in Ladari, Borno State. Improved intelligence sharing and inter-agency coordination led to the safe discovery and detonation of an improvised explosive device. During clearance operations along the Ladari riverbank, soldiers recovered pistols, 9mm rounds and other ammunition abandoned by fleeing insurgents. This follows intensified surveillance missions across vulnerable communities. Working with the Civilian Joint Task Force, security forces also arrested a suspected terrorist in Gubio. Analysts say these successes highlight the growing impact of intelligence-led strategies in restoring peace to the North East.
