I just got back from the Airforce DSSC33 interview. I know I searched online to see if there were help before I went but didn't find any. I'm here to help the last batch going tomorrow. 

Some tips:
If you have health complications like pile, hernia, you use glasses, fracture etc. There's no need of going.

If you do not have the required documents or the signed documents were scanned. They won't be accepted. 

There is no need to carry a million boxes of clothes, you'll only be allowed to wear white on blue. Rather come with provisions and money. The NAF will not feed you.

You'll spend minimum of 5days there, you'll spend the equivalent of 4days in hours sitting on the ground.

If you're lucky to face the board, the questions will come mostly from your course if study in the university. 

No panic. You have the whole of Monday to resume, don't be in a hurry. Once in, your phones will be collected and you'll be cut off from the world.

For the 5days, you'll barely get 2hrs sleep each day.

Ask questions if you have any.

Now, you should know that your natural talents can also be used by God to empower you to be prosperous as far as influence is concerned. In other words, you are prosperous in your capacity to bring change to the world and impact the lives of others. This is what brings influence - the ability to make people do what you want them to do without force (in the Kingdom context, to influence the world towards serving your God).

I am sitting down on my WC ready for number two, enjoying my toileting experience in absolute peace and quiet, and these thoughts just crept up into my mind.

It's like I was musing and conducting a sort of internal dialogue with myself and would want to have the inputs of fellow naijaworlders to see if I am wrong in my thought process.

I noticed that women from certain tribes move on easily after a marriage relationship compared to others.

That is, they are married with kids, the husband dies or divorces them, or even the ones whose husbands left and traveled find it very easy to move on to other relationships.

I will be talking about Edo, Yoruba, and Igbo women as case studies. Those are the ones I have observed, and the same pattern is playing out.

My wife's grandfather married an Edo woman who had four kids from a previous relationship. The husband had kicked her out because she had four daughters and no son. She found and married my wife's grandfather, who was never married. Together, they had five children and were married for more than fifty years.

One guy that I know from Osun State left his wife with kids and traveled for greener pastures in Europe. Within two years, his wife was pregnant for his friend.

My grandmother from Imo State was an early widow at 31 when her husband died, and she never remarried all her life.

I know of a neighbor, an Igbo lady, whose husband left for abroad and never returned for more than 20 years. This lady never remarried nor flirted; she was just focused on raising her children, and I can give several examples off the top of my head.

My conclusion is, Igbo women, once they are married or have kids, if their husband dies or divorces them, it is very hard for them to get into another marriage relationship all their lives.

I am not saying women from certain tribes are promiscuous. It may be the fault of Igbo men, who see single mothers as damaged goods, but from my experience, it is rare for them to move on.

In contrast, women from Edo or Yoruba find it easy to move on after a marriage breakdown. Even the Igbo women who are widows, no matter how young, find it hard to get into a new relationship compared to their counterparts.

However, we must acknowledge that the task ahead will not be easy. 

The complexities of insecurity in Anambra are deeply entrenched, and the initiative's success will depend on a multitude of factors, including the effectiveness of its implementation, the cooperation of the citizenry, and the ability of the government to address the root causes of insecurity.

Despite these challenges, the "Udo Ga-Achị" operation represents a significant step forward in our collective effort to reclaim our homeland.

The initiative's comprehensive approach, which involves both kinetic and non-kinetic strategies, is a testament to the governor's commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all citizens.

My own is I’m not scared to lose anybody… if someone is on the opposite side of my standards and lifestyle, they seriously have to go. But it’s a 2 years relationship, I’m considering so many things…

> Retired generals from the Army, Navy, and Air Force who were actively involved in Nigeria's fight against insurgency, especially against Boko Haram, have closely examined the situation and concluded that some non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international agencies, and certain interest groups have contributed to the ongoing terrorism and violent crimes in the country.

According to The Vanguard, it was reported that recently, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, called on the Federal Government to invite the United Nations to investigate how terrorists and bandits in Nigeria are still receiving arms despite the military's strong efforts. 

The armed forces have successfully killed many terrorists and seized thousands of their weapons, yet these groups continue to gain access to advanced weapons.

General Musa’s request followed public criticism that the military has not justified the large amounts of money allocated to the fight against terrorism, as terrorist groups, bandits, and kidnappers still manage to obtain sophisticated arms.

Speaking on this issue, retired generals—including former theatre commanders, general officers commanding (GOCs), field commanders, and Air Force operational leaders—highlighted the main causes of the ongoing conflict and identified those supporting these violent groups. They also suggested ways to address the problem. However, these retired generals chose to remain anonymous when sharing their views.

A retired AOC who spoke to Vanguard correspondent said, 

“NGOs are deeply involved in this arms inflow. They have ulterior motives here. They deceive us with mosquito nets, donate insecticides and give us some dollars to support infrastructure but make millions of dollars from arms sales, mineral resources export etc. And most of the weapons are sold very cheap to terrorists and bandits, as cheap as $5, $8, $10."

Further talking, he said at one point in the fight against banditry, especially in Kaduna State, security agencies discovered that 450 Boko Haram terrorists had moved from the North-East into the Birnin Gwari forests. However, the government lacked the political will to take necessary action against them, such as launching air strikes or using other methods to eliminate them.

He said although the military and security forces are making every possible effort to end banditry and terrorism, but terrorists continue to receive supplies through certain agencies and NGOs that serve as cover for their operations.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has urged northern governors to reconsider the region’s education system by adopting Hausa as the primary language of instruction in schools.

According to the governor, English should be taught only as a subject rather than being the medium of instruction in primary and secondary education across the North.

He stated: “Adopting Hausa as the language of instruction in northern schools could significantly enhance the learning experience, promote enrolment, and foster a deeper understanding of subjects among pupils and students.”

However, this proposal has sparked widespread concern among Nigerians from other regions. Many worry that such a move could negatively affect youth corps members who are posted to northern states for their mandatory one-year service under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

“And to One Nigeria, does this make sense? Abi, na another way of superimposing Hausa language on One Nigeria or making it a compulsory language for everyone?
