Helen Ukpabio’s Daughter Says Former Critics Have Returned to Apologise
Imaobong Elijah, daughter of Apostle Helen Ukpabio, says some people who criticised and insulted her and her mother in 2024 have now contacted her to apologise. The criticism followed allegations that Apostle Ukpabio’s ministry promoted claims of child witchcraft, which critics linked to child abuse and abandonment in Cross River State. Imaobong previously defended her mother and denied the allegations. Sharing alleged messages from the former critics, she wrote that she would not leave vengeance to God alone. When asked why they were seeking forgiveness, she replied: “God is working.”
