Osinbajo Rejects ‘Prosperity Gospel’, Affirms Only the Gospel of Christ
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has rejected the idea of a “prosperity gospel”, saying there is only one true message—the gospel of Jesus Christ. At a live debate in Rock of Ages Christian Assembly, Pastor Korede Komaiya argued that biblical prosperity comes through balanced giving, diligent work and intelligence. He stressed sacrificial giving alongside labour and ministry. Osinbajo countered that linking faith to material wealth distorts its purpose. He insisted the New Testament speaks most about giving to the poor and upholding spiritual truth over earthly riches.
