Zulum Awards ₦46 Million to Qur’anic Graduates and Their Teachers in Borno

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has awarded ₦1 million each to 30 students who memorised the Holy Qur’an at a graduation ceremony held at the Indimi Mosque in Maiduguri. He also approved ₦2 million each for the eight teachers who trained the graduates, bringing the total support to ₦46 million. Zulum praised the Indimi Islamic Trust for supporting Islamic education and urged scholars to promote moderation, peace, unity and responsible citizenship. He said the state would continue to strengthen both formal and non-formal education, while encouraging the integration of Islamic and Western education.
