Faith vs Feelings: Why True Faith Stands Firm
Faith is conviction rooted in God’s Word. Feelings change, but faith stands on His promises. Emotions like fear, excitement or doubt come and go. Faith sees beyond visible conditions. It trusts what God has spoken even when circumstances seem against you. Abraham looked to the promise, not his dead body. Jesus felt sorrow in Gethsemane yet obeyed the Father. These examples show faith does not depend on emotional intensity. Fear asks, “What if it fails?” Faith replies, “God is faithful.” Emotions will rise and fall, but a believer rooted in faith remains steady. The just shall live by faith, not by mood.
