Whyte Ogbonda Returns as Rivers Angels Head Coach
Whyte Ogbonda has returned to Rivers Angels for a second spell as head coach of the Port Harcourt-based Nigeria Women Football League side. Isaac Thomas Atonbere has been named assistant coach, while Sunday Uduh will serve as goalkeeper trainer. Ogbonda apologised to the club’s supporters and the Rivers State sports commissioner over the manner of his previous exit. He previously led Rivers Angels to Federation Cup success and narrowly missed out on the league title.
