Court Orders INEC to Upload and Use NDC’s Modified Logo
A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to upload and use the Nigeria Democratic Congress’ modified digital logo. The party said it submitted the new logo after its first National Executive Council meeting. INEC reportedly uploaded it initially, then removed it and reverted to the logo used during the party’s registration without explaining why. Following the ruling, the NDC has asked its candidates and members to replace the former logo on campaign materials ahead of the 2027 general election. The party said further guidance on the approved design will be issued.
